Twin Tails Camera Shop is a one-person business in Seattle, Washington. This page explains exactly what information exists about you, why, and how long it is kept. It is deliberately short, because we collect very little.

Who is responsible
Twin Tails Camera Shop, a sole trader based in Seattle, Washington, United States, is the data controller for the limited information described below. You can reach us through Etsy Messages, which is how we handle all customer contact.
What this website collects
No cookies. No analytics. No tracking pixels. No third-party requests. Fonts and images are served from our own domain rather than Google or a CDN, so browsing this site does not tell any outside company that you were here.
Our web host records standard server logs when any page is requested. These contain your IP address, browser user-agent, the page requested, the time, and the referring page. They are generated automatically by the server, used only for security and diagnosing faults, and we do not combine them with anything else or use them to identify you.
What happens when you buy something
All sales go through Etsy or eBay. We never see or store your card details. Those platforms process your payment and provide us with the information needed to fulfil an order — typically your name, delivery address, order contents and any message you send.
Each platform has its own privacy policy governing the data it holds about you:
We keep order records for as long as needed to handle returns, warranty questions and tax obligations.
Photographs sent for printing
This is the most sensitive information we handle, so it gets its own section.
- If you order instant film prints, you send us digital photographs, either attached to the order or through Etsy Messages afterwards.
- We use them solely to produce your prints. We do not publish them, share them, sell them, or use them in marketing.
- We do not use them to train any machine learning system.
- Files are deleted within 90 days of your order being completed. We keep them that long only so we can reprint if something is damaged in the post.
- If you would like them deleted sooner, message us and we will remove them and confirm.
Please do not send photographs of other people without their agreement, or images you do not have the right to reproduce.

That is the complete list. We do not sell, rent or share personal information with anyone else, and we do not run advertising.
International orders
We ship worldwide, so if you are in the UK, EU or elsewhere, your information is processed in the United States. Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies to you, our legal bases are performance of a contract for fulfilling your order, and legitimate interests for keeping the website secure and running.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your photographs or order correspondence;
- provide a copy of what you sent us.
Message us on Etsy and we will respond within 30 days. Because orders are placed through Etsy and eBay, some requests are better made directly to them, and we will tell you if that is the case.
If you are in the UK or EU and are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your national data protection authority — in the UK that is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Children
This shop is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. There is no mailing list, so there is nothing to unsubscribe from.
